All of us at High Adventure Ranch look forward to hosting your next hunt. Below are some policies that you should be aware of before booking your hunt. We also have information in this section on our No Game No Pay Policy and our Meat Processing Capabilities.
Click here for directions to the ranch.
Arrival Time
The security entry gate to our ranch is open until 3:00 PM and check in time is no later than 3:00 PM. If you encounter any difficulty with the 3:00 PM arrival check in time, please call one of three numbers to make arrangements for entry up until 10:00 PM.
- (573)743-6606
- (573)743-3181
- (573)743-6596
Late arrivals can find motels on I-44 exit #208 in Cuba, Missouri (for those traveling west) or exit #195 at St. James, Missouri (for those traveling east). Both of these exits have lodging that is 30 minutes or less from the ranch and will permit arrival the next morning for an early hunt.
Check Out Time
Check out time is 3:00 PM unless other arrangements have been made.
Payment
A 50% deposit is required on each animal. Personal checks are accepted for deposits only. Final payment must be in cash, money order, traveler’s checks, or credit card. (Most credit cards accepted.)
Cancellation, No Show & Credit
In the event of a cancellation, your deposit will not be refunded, but you may reschedule for a later date. If your cancellation is within 30 days of your scheduled arrival, there will be a $50.00 reschedule fee charged against your initial deposit. In the event of a no show, no reschedule will be permitted and you forfeit your deposit. No refunds of any kind are available for "no shows."
What to Wear
Insulated hunting camouflage (any pattern) is appropriate for winter months with uninsulated camouflage during the summer months. Hunters must wear a blaze orange cap and vest while in the field. (We can provide these if you do not have.)
Comfortable hunting boots are a must particularly if you are Wild Boar hunting as this is done entirely by stalking on foot in rough terrain.
We definitely recommend bringing rain gear at all times during the year.
Other Items to Bring
Remember to bring your camera and plenty of film to capture your hunt forever. Other items to consider:
- Flashlight
- Gun & Shells
- Snacks & Drinks
- Insect Repellant
- Coolers or containers to transport your meat back home. (We can also go to nearby retailers to get coolers if needed.)
